Turning nutritious into delicious
MANILA, Philippines - Gastronomy and nutrition are seldom served on the same plate, as one cannot expect to count calories while indulging in a perfectly cooked steak or luscious dessert. But chef Nadine Tengco has elevated this concept into a lifestyle, combining the pleasure of eating with a view to attaining physical fitness and improving overall health.
Chef Nadine was part of the reality show The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition as its resident nutritionist-chef and diet coach. Recenly, she was chosen as one of the brand ambassadors of C-Lium, the fiber supplement that she has been using in her detox recipes.
According to this super-fit chef, the underpinnings of her diet program are based on a detoxification process to successfully eliminate unwanted fat, speed up weight loss, increase metabolism, and reduce bloating and inflammation.
