MANILA, Philippines - National Book Store recently brought to Manila chef Louis Eguaras, author of 101 Things I Learned in Culinary School, for a talk and book signing at the new National Book Store flagship store in Glorietta 1.

101 Things I Learned in Culinary School, co-authored by Matthew Frederick, is part of the 101 Things I Learned series and provides an overview of food preparation, cooking and presentation, along with many insights on how to survive and thrive in the culinary profession. The 101illustrated lessons show the reader everything from the history of food to how to properly hold a knife, from kitchen organization to food preparation, and from plate presentation to restaurant management.
