Fresh pasta, brick-oven pizza at Bistro Ravioli

-

MANILA, Philippines - Bistro Ravioli offers pasta dishes and pizzas. Its pasta is made on-site every day, in full view of diners and passersby, while the pizza is baked in a wood-fired brick oven.

“We are the first and only full-service casual dining restaurant in the country today that makes our own fresh pasta,” says Princess O. Pilarta, managing director of Bistro Ravioli. “We named the Bistro after a type of stuffed pasta called ravioli. Since almost every other pasta restaurant offers tomato-based spaghetti, we wanted to give our customers a different culinary experience. Before we opened, ravioli dishes were offered only in hotels and high-end restaurants here in the Philippines.”

Lovers of Italian cuisine will enjoy the Bistro’s salmon ravioli in saffron cream sauce, spinach and feta cheese ravioli, garlic seafood (using freshly made spaghetti noodles), Italian sausage ravioli in romesco sauce (Bistro Ravioli makes its own sausages), and shrimp and basil pizza, among others.

For information, call Bistro Ravioli’s Mall of Asia branch at 804-0577, and its newly opened branch on the second floor, Midtown Wing, Robinson’s Place, Ermita at 523-7565. There is also a Ravioli stand-alone stall at the food court of Robinson’s Galleria.
