Chef’s Noodle continues expansion in Phl

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - When it comes to finding success in the food service industry, what are the things that  any discerning entrepreneur should take note of? Saleability, quality, and of course, sustainability. While startup companies continue to attract enterprising individuals, franchising has remained to be the smarter option especially for first-time entrepreneurs.

This is why along with the rise in popularity of all things Korean, it brought forth the entry of many successful Korean brands in the country such as cosmetics, clothes, automotives, gadgets, and of course, food.

With food always being a profitable venture, it definitely makes for a nice business option even for relative newbies. However, when it comes to picking out a specific business to invest in, brand name is always of utmost importance.

For those who are trying to explore possible business options, Korea’s popular restaurant franchise has proven to be quite a hit among Filipinos. With the Philippines having first acquired the master franchise for Chef’s Noodle, it just shows how the company sees great potential in this emerging market.

Offering an exciting mix of dishes, Chef’s Noodle is best known for its Starking Fire Sushi, which is a flavorful dish composed of sushi rice topped with thinly sliced Australian beef torched and served with special sushi sauce. This dish was made popular by Chef Choi In Sun, a popular Korean chef who featured the dish in Starking Show, a Korean food show. Given his popularity, it was only fitting for the restaurant to tap Chef Choi In Sun to develop the menu.

Aside from its signature dishes, Chef’s Noodle also carries popular Korean specialties like bibimbap, Korean pancakes, and bulgogi. Offering large servings, it definitely gives diners more value for their money.

Start off your Chef’s Noodle experience with the Chef Recommendations like the bibimbap (rice topped with vegetables, meat and egg), japchae (sweet potato noodles stir fried in sesame oil with vegetables and cooked bulgogi), and the restaurant’s signature dish, Chef’s Noodle (noodles topped with tamago, sprouts, fried tofu, jun-ya, kuchai, and a secret broth) to Budget Meals that appeal to everyone like kimchi dupbap (rice topped with kimchi and veggies) and bibimbap, and other must-try specialties like the Bulgogi Leek Butchu Jun (Chef’s Noodle’s version of pancake packed with cooked bulgogi, fresh kutchai, and bell pepper, packed in a special pancake (jun) mix), Haemul (seafood) Pa Jun (pancake version packed with fresh shrimps and squids, spring onion and bell pepper), and Wanja Steak Jun (Chef’s Noodle’s version of burger steak).

Wanja Steak Jun is a mixture of ground chicken, pork, beef and spices pan-fried and served with a slice of cheese and fried egg, and Leek Shrimp Twigim is deep-fried kutchai battered in a special blend of buthai shrimp mix. Everyone will enjoy trying out the extensive variety of dishes available at Chef’s Noodle.

Targetting diners from all walks of life who have a penchant for delicious Korean food at affordable prices, Chef’s Noodle definitely has a lot of appeal. Complementing the delicious selection of dishes is the restaurant’s clean and modern aesthetics and fast service that the staff generously provides. These work hand-in-hand to bring customers a more pleasurable dining experience each time they visit Chef’s Noodle.

Currently with four branches in the country (University Mall and Annapolis, Greenhills) Chef’s Noodle also recently opened in SM North EDSA-The Block and soon, in Robinsons Magnolia.
