Seven-star chef prepares meals on Asian Air

MANILA, Philippines - Asiana Airlines (OZ) has signed an agreement with former Burj Al Arab luxury hotel head chef Edward Kwon to upgrade its catering services.  Asiana president and CEO Young Doo-Yoon held a partnership signing with the celebrity chef at Asiana’s catering company LSG in Incheon.

Chef Kwon plans to use ingredients that will not be too heavy on the stomach for passengers and yet will satisfy their hunger. He is developing new sets of menus for all cabin classes and routes. The first set will be introduced in August on European routes.  Chef Kwon will also provide consulting services for menu and cooking preparation all the way to actual food service to passengers.
