You'll find Grand Cru wines and fine foods at this grocery
The Power Plant Mall unveils another addition to its roster of specialty shops with the recent opening of Bacchus Epicerie.
The opening was highlighted by a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by the wife of Meralco’s Manolo Lopez, Maritess; Bacchus Group executives and Epicerie store owners Alex and Clifford Lichaytoo; and Rockwell Land president and CEO Nestor Padilla. Also present were master caterer Gaita Fores of Cibo, restaurateur Glenda Barretto and businessman Harry Liu.
Bacchus Epicerie’s modern, well-lighted and polished interiors with steel frames on wooden shelves are the work of Maja Olivares-Co, noted designer of many high-end retail establishments both here and abroad. Her elegant touch adds to the appeal of the store, apart from its displays of merchandise.
Mall visitors will now be treated to the best food ingredients, cooking implements, wines and other top-quality merchandise imported from the United States and Europe. On the shelves are top brands like De Cecco pasta, Le Creuset and Mepra cookware, Valrhona chocolate, Grand Cru wines, and Lavazza coffee. Plus, booths will provide visitors a taste of the many variants of fine espresso and olive oil available in the store.
