Chris Locher, chef patron, started C’ Italian Dining in March 2004 and grew the place from 24 seats to a 200-seat restaurant that it is today.

Chef Chris said he decided to set up shop in Pampanga because he saw the people’s love for food and the potential for growth in Angeles City. “When they ask me, I tell everyone that the Philippines is my home. Switzerland just happens to be the place where I was born. I’m more a Filipino,” he says.

C’ Italian Dining, located in Clarkview, Angeles City. Chef Chris believes there’s bigger opportunity for C’ here than in Metro Manila with the bustling free ports and the construction of the Subic-Clark expressway. “Angeles City has been much easier to access for tourism and remains strong because of the expressway leading to the two free ports,” he said.

C’ Italian Dining has around 45 employees, having started with just nine, to serve its growing clientele who take time to stop over in Angeles City to visit the place. Chef Chris said communication plays a vital role in the operations, and having the right one is key. Also, how do we reach our customers and get the word out to them? Communication is really important,” he said.
