You + Havaianas reveals its winning pair
MANILA, Philippines -After sifting through hundreds of clever expressions of creativity, ingenious concepts, and dashes of imagination, the world’s favorite flip-flop brand Havaianas finally reveals the winner of You + Havaianas.
Among the 20 finalists and hundreds of Havaianas pairs that aimed to capture the renowned brand’s fun fashion and creativity, Xio Macasio’s design was chosen to become part of the limited edition prints for the Havaianas 2014 collection. The freelance designer from Pampanga is now the brand’s latest design partner, as his creation represented the ideals of Havaianas through “living out summer by imagining daily.†Macasio conveyed this by combining the elements and prints that stand for the beach and a fun spirit, coupled with a range of colors representing his fountains of inspiration.
The brand’s biggest design collaboration to date, the run of You + Havaianas has celebrated the artistry innate in every Havaianatico since its launch during the last Make Your Own Havaianas 2013. Yet, summer doesn’t stop here, as Havaianas continues to fuel parallel ideals and images through palettes and patterns that speak of boundless joy, energy, and good memories.
