Only the real thing at Masseto
I love that the dishes at Masseto are always new and unique.
I like experimenting and trying new things. So it is good that every now and then, the menu of Masseto changes, so there is always a reason to go back.
Masseto opened in 2009 and since then I keep going back, even if there are many new restaurants that open almost every day. It is difficult to repeat a restaurant in the metro because there are so many new ones opening left and right, and I make it a point to always try something new.
But with Masseto, we seem to keep coming back, and that is because chef Tippi Tambunting gives us such personal attention. She’s always texting and letting us know what is arriving and what the new dishes are. She takes care of all her clients so well and she always has that personal touch that makes us like being at Masseto.
And every time I visit her, I always take her photo, since she gets more beautiful and blooming every time I see her. Which leads me to my next point that she is still single. So do visit Masseto if you would like to meet this young and wonderful lady. I can assure you that she is very nice and that she will take good care of you, especially your tummy.
In those five years, my blog Heart2Heart has grown with the place and I have noticed how even Tippi has grown as a chef, from very simple dishes when it first opened to more complicated dishes with many flavors.
I love the dishes that are new and unique and I always go for those. There are some who stick to the Duck Confit and just order it all the time, and I don’t blame them because it is really good! But I like experimenting and trying new things. So it is good that every now and then, the menu of Masseto changes, so there is always a reason to go back. This time, chef Tippi called again to let me know that she has new dishes on the menu, so we immediately came over to try them!
