Pork chop with shiitake mushroom at TGI Friday’s (P295)
I was never a fan of pork chops. Well, that all changed when I tried the Pork Chop with Shiitake Mushroom one fine lunch at TGIFriday’s in Bonifacio High Street. Available for lunch on weekdays, the pork chop is juicy and oozing with flavor because it is perfectly seasoned with garlic, cayenne pepper and rib spice, among others. Served with rice pilaf and summer salad on the side.
TGIFriday’s has 16 branches nationwide.
Sesame Teriyaki Chicken at Village Tavern (P245)
Get your meal to a roaring start! You and your friends can have an order or two of “small plates” for P300 and below like the Sesame Teriyaki Chicken (deep-fried, coated with the sweet and tangy teriyaki sauce and sprinkled with sesame seeds). Other must-haves are the Chorizo and Goat Cheese Rolls (P295) and Three-Cheese Elote (P295). They come with complimentary freshly-baked sourdough bread and are great with Sangria, which is available at 50% off from 5 p.m. onward every Saturday at Bonifacio High Street Central.
Fish and Chips over seafood rice at FISH & CO. (P295)
Rice and shine at Fish & Co. during lunchtime as it offers its signature fish dish served not with the usual “chips” (french fries) but with a delightful seafood rice. The fish comes with a lemon butter sauce, but you can also have it with tartar sauce. Either way, you’re sure to love it at Fish & Co. Greenbelt 3, Mall of Asia and TriNoma Mall.
Having a superb dining experience need not be expensive. At the Bistro Group of Restaurants, all you need is ample cash and a big appetite!
