Village Tavern’s Black Pizza's unique ingredient is squid ink. This one of a kind pizza in the rising business district in Taguig City is topped with parmesan, gruyere, mozzarella, pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers and onions.
One would expect the Black Pizza to have a taste of seafood because of the squid ink in the dough, but with the variety of cheese toppings, you won’t be able to tell that there’s squid ink in it.
The parmesan gives the pizza a fruity with a bit of peppery after-taste. When this is combined with mozzarella’s milky texture and Gruyere’s sweet, but slightly salty taste, the Black Pizza will surprise your taste buds.
