The Korean Fever in the Philippines is still on! Ever wondered what your Korean idols eat? Well, you can bet that Bulgogi is on the list.
The word Bulgogi literally means "fire meat". It refers to marinated meat, cooked using traditional grilling techniques.
At Bulgogi Brothers, customers will be served first with a complimentary appetizer consisting of kimchi, anchovies, corn, sweet potato and pumpkin salad.
The main dish – the Korean Pork Ribs Bulgogi –will be served on a metal plate with a small burner to keep the dish warm.
The dish is a mixture of marinated grilled pork with onions, green and red bell peppers and sprinkled sesame seeds. The pork ribs are succulent and tender, and combined with the sweet-spicy sauce. The bell peppers add a kick to the dish while the sesame seeds give an added flavor and aroma. To sum it all up, the dish has grilled sweet-spicy taste and salty flavor.
The Korean pork bulgogi is best eaten with rice. Since the dish is a little bit dry, it is best to pair it with soup. If you happen to eat at Bulgogi Brothers, this dish is a must try!
