Fresh, hot and oversized at Fedi and Frankie's Home Baked Bread Shop
MANILA, Philippines – Fresh, hot and oversized is how brothers Fedi and Frankie Roa like their bread. It all started with a family tradition, which their mother Christine Canullas grew up with. In the ancestral home of her maternal grandparents in Old Parañaque, she was accustomed to having freshly baked, hot pandesal for breakfast.
Christine had an early love affair with food, always tinkering in the kitchen concocting special dishes and baking sweet treats for their family. When she had a family of her own, she fed them with the same home made specialties. Although she is not officially creating her own bread for 14-year-old son Fedi, who has autism and strict dietary needs. Her eight-year-old son Frankie is equally a bread lover and appreciates it freshly baked. The two are the greatest fans of her breads.
Christine decided to venture into putting up a neighborhood bread shop. By sharing her secret recipe she hopes to serve the needs of the family as well as the community they now belong to.
Fedi and Frankie’s Home Baked Bread Shop is located inside Capitol Green Street Mall, the latest lifestyle hub in Capitol Hills, Quezon City, right beside the Capitol Hills Golf Club and a few steps away to Ayala Heights, Ayala Hillside, Capitol Hills and Golfers’ Villas.
“Would it not be nice to wake up to a morning served with bread, baked fresh from the oven?” asks Christine. “Fedi and Frankie’s home baked bread can be a daily habit and breakfast will never be the same again.”
