Chanel your way to smoky eyes
MANILA, Philippines - Chanel Les 4 Ombres’ new collection is inspired by tweed, the iconic fabric of Chanel. Based on a selection of House tweeds, the Chanel Makeup Creation Studio created eight Les 4 Ombres harmonies, each with four shadows that match perfectly with the colored threads of the fabric weave. The new formula features a soft and long-lasting texture that faciliates application, and offers new color effects with intense shades and a subtle play on texture.
The Chanel Makeup Studio provides a unique, personalized makeup experience with four ways of applying Les 4 Ombres — natural eyes, intense eyes, almond-shaped eyes, and smoky eyes. The collection comes in eight new eyeshadow palettes that range from fresh and rosy to hypnotic and intense.
To complement the eyeshadows is a new range of Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof. Add a line of color along the base of the lashes to enhance the eyes and add intensity, depth and playfulness. Stylo Yeux Waterproof comes in four original shades (Smoky Grey, Marron Glace, Iris, and Bleu Métallique) to match the eyeshadows.
Along with the shadows come Le Volume de Chanel Waterproof mascara, which has a water- and sweat-resistant formula that guarantees flawless hold, but is also easy to remove. The patented and exclusively developed Chanel brush optimizes the formulation on each level. By combining supple and rigid bristles that are cleverly spaced, it succeeds in thickening, separating and curling at the same time. It comes in three shades: Noir, a shiny black, Brun, a velvety chocolate, and Vert Grisé, a khaki green tone.
To create a smoky eye, first apply the upper leftmost shade on the palette to the entire eyelid. Sweep a wide line of the shade on the lower right along the row of the upper and lower lashes, and lightly soften to intensify. Then apply the shade on the lower left to the eyelid fold and blend with the previous two shades. Finally, apply the highlighting shade on the upper right under the brow bone and bled towards the inner corner of the eyelid.
