Love those leggings by Pablo Cabahug

MANILA, Philippines - Fresh from his learning experience at London’s Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design (CSM), designer Pablo Cabahug now designs his own line of hosiery for Leg Love’s Designer Series collection.

His ideas came from doodles and later turned into a work of art. Easily mixed and matched with any outfit — be it as simple as shorts and top, an oversized sweater or even a cute cocktail dress — it’s the perfect accessory that all women should have. His line is made from top-quality materials, which complement his designs. Granted that he poured a lot of hard work into his pieces, Pablo created his collection with prints that are easily recognizable by his valued clients and close friends. Suited for women who favor an up-to-date vibe as well as those that prefer a more traditional yet fashionable feel, Pablo’s Leg Love Designer Series collection is a must-have in every woman’s closet.

PHILIPPINE STAR: How did you get involved in this project?

PABLO CABAHUG: When the project was given to me, I didn’t think twice.  I am used to designing clothes, so this is quite a challenge, as well as an opportunity, to up-skill myself in another area.  Designing hosiery is really a worthwhile experience and I am learning a lot from it.

 What were your inspirations for this collection?

"Leg Love is created with love, making the wearer become the true essence of being a woman," says designer Pablo Cabahug.

I want Leg Love, as my first retail venture, to bear the Pablo Cabahug mark as well.  I transformed my aesthetics into prints and patterns that would look fashionable on hosieries. I tried to be consistent, branding myself into all my creations.

 Do you have a certain design method or principle that you follow?

None in particular, just anything that comes into my mind.  Of course, I looked around to get ideas. 

 What makes this collection different from other brands?

Leg Love is not just any brand; it has taste in both its material and its design.  This collection is a perfect accessory for any woman who dares to bare her legs behind carefully designed leggings.  Each pair is created with love, making the wearer become the true essence of being a woman.

 What is the perfect fashion style to pair with your line?

Sophisticated, classic, fashionable — these are the keywords.  Wearable on any occasion, be it casual or formal.  Whatever fashion style, it is very comfortable to wear.  Simply put, any fashion style is perfect with Leg Love.
