Marriott Hotel Manila launches Gastronomia de España

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - It was a night of fun, Spanish tapas, wines and fascinating Flamenco as guest reveled at the launch of Marriott Hotel Manila’s Gastronomia de España, a month long Spanish food festival showcasing the food, wine and passion of Spain.

Guest chef Victor Burgos of Valladolid, Spain tickled the taste buds of celebrities, media, clients, and foreign dignitaries as they relished mouthwatering jamon Iberico, jamon Serrano, olives, manchego cheese, paella, chorizos, pintxos, churros, arroz con leche and other Spanish delights. Amping up the ambience, the Flamenco dancers flown all the way from Spain gave their strong yet graceful performance showcasing their percussive footwork with intricate hand and body movements.

The event was also fueled with well-loved Spanish music played by Arriba band and Primo, a renowned trio from Resorts World Manila; free-flowing Sangria and wines from Spain brought by Bodegas Hidalgo and a raffle, much to the delight of everyone present.
