BBDO Guerrero most awarded agency at Digital Awards
MANILA, Philippines - At the IMMAP Boomerang awards, which mark excellence in digital marketing, BBDO Guerrero scooped four of the 10 coveted Boomerangs. This made them the most awarded digital advertising agency in the country for the fourth year running.
This achievement follows closely on the agency’s recent success at the prestigious Cannes International Advertising Festival, where it was recognized for its creativity in traditional advertising.
In commenting on the Boomerang win, David Guerrero, BBDO chairman and chief creative officer, commented, “At a time when clients are crying out for integrated solutions for their marketing campaigns, it is particularly satisfying to be acclaimed as much for our work in the digital space as it is in conventional advertising media.”
Among BBDO Guerrero’s winning entries was FedEx’s “Changing Worlds” website, a global project that provided a fascinating representation of how the world exists and differs from territory to territory. Alongside this project were the Pinoy campaigns for Pepsi Pinas, a viral film spoof of ’70s Filipino action movies; and Kanta Calls for Bayantel, a service bringing a touch of the homeland to those who live far away.
Guerrero continued, “This current batch of awards reveals our ability to talk not just to a very local audience but also to the global community, with creative and contagious ideas that can deliver real business results for some very significant brands.”
