Rizza Diaz

Rizza is no stranger to sports and exercise as she’s surrounded by sports enthusiasts every day because of her job as a sportscaster. “I’m around athletic guys most of the time, so that is inspiring. I want to do more and be more than what I already am. I want to surprise people with how strong I can be and hopefully encourage and inspire them, too.”

Keeping healthy and maintaining a toned physique is no easy task and entails discipline, which is why, despite her busy schedule, “I always make time for it. A fitness routine is just like marriage, you can’t cheat on it and expect it to work out. Try an exercise and commit to it. It’s never gonna be easy but exercising is something that you owe yourself. Once you see the results, it’s addicting,” she says.

En Estrada

A photographer and the fashion blogger behind Half of Your Evil Twin, En understands that workouts can sometimes feel like a chore. That’s why she tries to inject as much fun as she can into her regimen — like taking selfies while she does squats! “I always tell myself something amusing, like ‘Can’t perform? Japorms’!” she laughs, adding that Chicago Bulls icon Scottie Pippen, her coach Gab, and athlete Lauren Fisher inspire her.

Erica Paredes

Food and fitness blogger, writer and makeup artist Erica shares that finding the time to squeeze in a workout into an already hectic day is quite difficult, but you can keep yourself from making excuses by reminding yourself why you work out. “I’m 36 and I think I’ve maintained myself pretty well. I have an 11-year-old and I want be able to keep up with her activeness. Also, I hate feeling sluggish, lazy and bloated,” Erica shares.

“It’s never too late to start. Start with your fitness level and build your goals along the way. Don’t give up because everyone starts out a beginner. Don’t compare yourself to anyone but to who you were yesterday. Eat right, make your own food, drink lots of water, and if you don’t like veggies, try them in raw smoothie form.”

Katrina Gamo

Fitness blogger Katrina hits the gym regularly and complements her exercise regimen with a good diet plan in order to achieve her fitness goals. “I used to work out every day, but since school started I’ve been hitting the gym three to five times a week. I guess it’s always about keeping it on schedule even when you’re busy.” To keep her looking good and feeling great, Katrina focuses on doing cardio, core  and glutes. “I do 20 to 30 minutes of jump rope or run on the treadmill, depending on my mood. I also focus on body weight exercises and TRX training.”

Francis Magundayao

For Francis, exercise is all about discipline. And in order to stay committed, the actor plans his days to include time for exercise. “I make sure it’s part of my activities set for the day. I can go to dance practice in the morning, basketball training in the afternoon and gym late at night.” For Francis, exercise is more than just a means to improve tone and physique, it makes you healthier as well. “I want be the better version of myself. When I look at my old photos, I realize how unhealthy I was. It serves as my drive to be better. I always remind myself, do something that will make you proud five to 10 years from now.”
