Spicing it up!

Serena Ordoveza - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Undoubtedly, Filipinos are in love with Korean trends — even in food!

As Chef’s Noodle Philippines continues to create a stronger presence in the local dining scene, it has tapped young heartthrob Sam Concepcion to be one of its brand celebrity ambassadors.

Known for his vocal talents and cute face, Sam left the limelight briefly as he pursued other endeavors aside from television and movies. But as the young crooner made his comeback, his star continues to shine bright with his various notable projects.

Just like Sam, Chef’s Noodle is a bright star in its own right as it is a well-known fast casual restaurant chain from South Korea. Its first foray outside its home country was the Philippines just a few years back. The company has already opened its doors to franchising.

Chef’s Noodle has grown exponentially with bigger branches in top malls, giving customers a delicious taste of Korean cuisine like bibimbap (rice topped with vegetable, meat and egg), japchae (stir fried sweet potato noodles), haemul pa jun (Korean pancake with seafood) as well as Chef’s Noodle originals developed by Korean celebrity chef Choi In Sun. Must-tries include the house specialty, the Starking Fire Sushi, Wanja Steak Jun, don kas and chicken kas.

To also welcome guests, Sam dropped by to entertain everyone by singing the restaurant’s jingle, Good to Share and meet fans. It was another way for Chef’s Noodle Philippines to reach out to its customers and hopefully continue to make a stronger presence in the country through its delicious take on Korean food.
