'Chasing your dream never stops': Noel Cabangon earns music degree at 60
MANILA, Philippines — Singer Noel Cabangon is the latest celebrity to graduate from college.
Cabangon graduated from Philippine Women's University with a Bachelor of Music major in Popular Music degree under the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program.
The singer shared photos of his graduation held at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City, where he also sang for his fellow graduates.
"Chasing your dream never stops. Finally, I got my degree... Go and chase yours, too!" Cabangon said, thanking his family, friends, and the university for their support.
Among those who congratulated Cabangon were peers Ogie Alcasid, Dingdong Avanzado, Elmer Borlongan, and former senator Bam Aquino.
Actress Arlene Muhlach also recently graduated from the Philippine Women's University at 55 years old, under the same program but with a Communication degree.
Other celebrities who recently received diplomas were Jhong Hilario and Ejay Falcon, both also serving as politicians.
