Kristofer Purnell

Kristofer is a content producer for Philstar.com's Lifestyle and Entertainment section. As of May 2023, Kristofer is also the sub-section editor for Movies and for Events under Entertainment. He previously served as a social media producer for two years at Philstar.com before shifting to Lifestyle and Entertainment.

A graduate of AB Communication from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2018 — with tracks focusing on journalism and film studies — Kristofer was also a Best Thesis nominee with his study that focused on masculinity and heteronormativity in Philippine films.

Kristofer previously worked at Manila Bulletin in the Digital Lifestyle and Lifestyle sections, writing articles and covering events related to Arts & Culture and Youth.
