'Sophia Heart': Heart Evangelista, Chiz Escudero open up about losing another baby
MANILA, Philippines — Celebrity couple Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero revealed they lost another opportunity to have a child together.
Heart and Chiz were the guests of Boy Abunda for the latter's late afternoon show "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda." The second portion of a two-part interview aired last March 15 showed Boy bringing up Heart's previous remark about the best time to have a baby.
Holding back tears, Heart admitted it was a touchy subject to discuss, particularly as she suffered a miscarriage in 2018 when she and Chiz were expecting twins.
The socialite-artist continued the reason why she said it was currently the best time to have baby during a previous interview with Boy earlier this year was because she was technically expecting.

"I wasn't pregnant but I was expecting my only girl that I have left — eggs," Heart explained.
“So, at that time, I thought it was… gonna make it, that she could. That was a bit hard for me because my God… hirap! So I was really preparing for her.
"So I really thought that I was gonna have a baby at the time when I felt, like, with everything we went through, it’s finally gonna happen. But it didn’t.
"But it's okay, I'm not the type to question. It's just sad because I thought I was gonna be able to share what I'd do with my last girl."
Chiz said he was "predisposed to accept God's will," which is what he told Heart as well, "If it's not now, not this, may mas maganda pang naka-plano. Hintayin lang namin 'yun."
Heart clarified she was tearing up because it took a lot for her to produce an egg, and she even had a name ready for her baby girl — Sophia Heart.
The incident occured before Heart and Chiz celebrated their ninth anniversary and renewed their wedding vows last February 15.
