KELOWNA, Canada — Fast food chain McDonald's enters the world of "Encantadia" with items inspired by the popular Filipino fantasy series.

Continuing its collaboration with producers GMA Network, the chain is launching limited-edition beverages and meals inspired by the ongoing spin-off show "Sang'gre."

The restaurant's popular McFloat drinks are getting four new flavors mirroring the titular Sang'gres Flamarra (Faith da Silva), Deia (Angel Guardian), Adamus (Kelvin Miranda), and Terra (Bianca Umali).

The Flamarra drink is fruity and tangy, while the Deia beverage is sweet sugary. Adamus' taste echoes refreshing coolness and Terra's has a twist on citrus.

Ada Lazaro, chief marketing officer for McDonald's Philippines, said in a statement that the chain was "committed to creating feel-good moments for customers," including "celebrating the richness of Filipino pop culture."

Lazaro added that the collaboration is specially created for fans of "Encantadia," who have kept the magic alive since the franchise began in 2005 after spinning off from "Mulawin" the previous year.

Making the collaboration more exciting is a special Sang'gre Meal involving the chain's one-piece Chicken McDo and a random limited-edition Sang'gre photocard.
