Kylie Verzosa attends 'Furiosa' premiere in another Mark Bumgarner dress
MANILA, Philippines — Beauty queen-turned-actress Kylie Verzosa is back on the 2024 Cannes Film Festival red carpet for the world premiere of "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga."
Kylie hit the red carpet wearing a mauve-colored dress by Mark Bumgarner and a Messika diamond necklace.
On her Instagram account, Kylie said her recent Cannes red carpet moment made her "feel like a princess."
The designer even claimed on his own Instagram account that the ballgown with rosette details was Kylie's "best look yet."
Earlier this week, Kylie attended the prestigious festival's opening ceremony and opening film "Le Deuxième Acte (The Second Act)," starring Léa Seydoux and Vincent Lindon.
The actress wore a black custom mermaid-shaped dress by Bumgarner, who also designed her outfits when she made her Cannes debut last year, and jewelry from Messika.
Her Cannes debut was on the festival's opening day last year where she attended the global premiere of Maiwenn's "Jeanne du Barry," which was Johnny Depp's feature film comeback.
The beauty queen, crowned Miss International 2016 before joining showbiz, recently starred in the movies "Elevator," "Penduko" and "Fit Check: Confessions of an Ukay Queen."
The 77th Cannes Film Festival runs until May 25, as presided by "Barbie" filmmaker Greta Gerwig, where 22 films, including Francis Ford Coppola's "Megalopolis," Yorgos Lanthimos' "Kinds of Kindness" and Sean Baker's "Anora," are competing for the Palme d'Or.
