Muglers superhero perfume

Thierry Mugler is considered to be the "alchemist of an enchanted world." As a designer, he always sets the stage while creating modern-looking, if not futuristic, clothes. The fashion world has never been the same since Mugler emerged. Just think extreme and scandalous.
But hey, many celebrities wear his creations. The list includes supermodels Iman Bowie, Jerry Hall, Linda Evangelista, Kate Moss, Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell and even actresses Darryl Hannah, Diana Ross and Sharon Stone.
Dig this: aside from being a designer, Mugler is also a perfumer. He created perfumes like Angel (perfect for evening and colder climates), Innocent (how I love this fruity gourmand), Mugler Cologne (good for everyday use) and A*Men (Angel version for men).
From the same misty, mysterious lake that once witnessed the birth of A*Men, a new hero emerges: B*Men. Just like A*Men, B*Men is a character possessing exceptional powers. Three words describe his essence power, strength and determination. The idea I get from this character is that he is an incarnation of the savior of humanity and the benevolent protector of a world in peril.
"B*Men is not like other mainstream fragrances. It lets you divert from trends," says Jeffrey Santos, brand manager for Thierry Mugler perfumes. "It has heavy base notes perfect for those who want a masculine and sensual scent."
A superhero surges upwards, in a blaze of action and color, his hand clasping the source of his strength: the B*Men fragrance. This scent conjures up a dynamic universe of speed and action, combining modern woody notes with green spicy accents. When you get a whiff of this, you would think that it is very vibrant, woody, dynamic, masculine, spicy, seductive and luminous.
"Thierry Mugler wanted to break out of the traditional mold and offer a new product, which brings together a novel freshness and a modern texture; a play of contrasts which has always been associated with the creativity and quality of his perfumes," explains Santos.
It is obvious that the inspirations for B*Men are comic book heroes like Superman, Captain Marvel and Batman. During the 60s and 70s, Silver Surfer became one of his cult heroes. From the world of superheroes comes A*Mens alter ego, B*Men, a second hero in Muglers fantasy saga.
B*Men is packaged with a shield-like metal spray that is refillable and includes Muglers trademark star in red. The great thing about the packaging is that the curved flask molds to the shape of the hand. It also comes in a rubber flask that suggests suppleness and the feeling of velvet.
If you cannot get enough of B*Men, try the hair and body shampoo. This energizing cleansing gel is lightly fragranced with B*Men, which leaves the hair shiny and the skin smooth. The deodorant stick comes in a cylindrical matte casing and provides comfort and freshness the whole day.
Santos concludes: "B*Men is consistent with the story of A*Men. If A*Men is the armor, B*Men is the shield."
Enough to bring out the superhero in you.
