Randy Santiago undergoes 2nd cataract surgery

MANILA, Philippines — Filipinos were caught by surprise in a rare moment seeing singer-host Randy Santiago without his iconic sunglasses.
The artist is hardly seen in public without tinted shades to cover his lazy eye, the result of a cyst on his left eyelid when he was still a child.
Surgeries on the same eye resulted in it squinting, prompting the singer to always don shades whenever he is out and about.
However a couple of weeks ago Randy attended the Edgar "Bobot" Mortiz's "Goin' Standard: The Repeat" concert wearing clear glasses, which was documented by media personality Christine Babao.
Christine posted a photo of her with husband Julius Babao and Randy on Facebook, referencing the latter's hit song "Babaero."
"Good Boy si Randy guys!! Kasing good boy ni Pappu syempre!" Christine jokingly compared the two men in her caption.
She later pointed out in her post's comments section that Randy underwent cataract surgery on his right eye last month, over a year since he did the same procedure on his left eye.
