Bea Alonzo eager to start a family with Vincent Co
MANILA, Philippines — Newly-wed actress Bea Alonzo is prioritizing her health and wellness as she is keen to start a family with husband Vincent Co.
Bea and Vincent tied the knot last month in a civil wedding officiated by Makati Mayor Nancy Binay, nearly a year after confirming their relationship.
The actress reflected on the new chapter of her life during the launch of a beauty milk she endorses in Bonifacio Global City.
"I have become more intentional and conscious about longevity... I don't want to feel old but everyone is into longevity these days," Bea shared.
Wary that it would make headlines, Bea said that following the wedding, the natural next step is to try and have kids in the future in order to build a family with Vincent.
"Of course I'd love to be able to have the energy to run around with my kids, to play with them and not just watch from the sidelines," the actress added.
Bea admitted to initially resorting to quick fixes or the latest trends, but now she is investing in her future self.

"That's not to say ayaw ko maging maganda! Of course I still want to look good," she quipped, reiterating her priority is to maximize every chapter of her life going forward.
After the event, Bea shared to Philstar.com in an exclusive interview the measures she has been observing to ensure her wellness is taken care of given she is starting a family.
She first listed incorporating movement and exercise more into her lifestyle despite her very busy schedule. Next is longer sleep, which Bea finds difficult to do given the nature of her job.
"Hindi ko alam if may nakakausap kayong ibang artista but our body clocks are different beause we work late hours. That's something I really need to adjust," Bea shared.
Being practical and being more mindful of the things she spends on or invests in are the other practices she observes.
"Right now I'm not only thinking about myself, I'm thinking about the family that I'm building," Bea ended.
