For fashion designer Lya Armovit, it takes eleven elements to make the perfect wedding and Elements Eleven to bring it a step beyond the perfect 10.
Elements Eleven is Armovits newest venture in weddings; its a one-stop bridal shop that represents a dream group hand-picked to create the dream wedding.
Since her arrival in the fashion scene in 1991, Armovit has been designing with the philosophy that a woman should look and feel good in her clothes. And what better occasion to do so than on her wedding day? Elements Eleven thus approaches a wedding holistically, beginning with the bride and her dress.
Sophisticated simplicity defines Armovits evening, casual/corporate and bridal collections. Her clothes are characterized by clean, elegant lines, good technical construction, and exotic fabrics that point to different cultural influences. But among her works, it is the bridal gowns that have landed Armovit in the map of Philippine high fashion.
There have been occasion, however, when she has seen her gowns mismatched with the brides hairstyle, makeup, flowers, even food.
And then, there have been times when a bride-to-be whos come to Armovit would ask her for advice on what other wedding essentials can best complement her gown.
All these have led the fashion designer to consider fusing her network of hand-picked essential wedding providers into one convenient resource for brides.
Thus, the elements within Elements Eleven: Blanc for wedding invitations; Shortcrust by Peachy Juban for the cake; Shimmer and Stone for wedding rings and jewelry; Sonata by Nana Estrera for flowers; Emphasis Salon for bridal and entourage hairstyling and makeup; DBT by D-boy Trofeo for photography; Bacchus International by Alex and Clifford Lichaytoo for wines; Via Mare, Connections Catering Co. and Zen for food, and of course, Lya Armovit for bridal and entourage gowns.
Individually, each element in the group is known for excellence in its particular field and when combined, the creative energy produced is nothing short of a perfectly harmonious dream wedding experience.
"This is the team thats ideal for me as a designer," says Armovit. "If I were to have a dream wedding, I would have this team together."
Her partner, Elements Eleven marketing manager Jane Walker affirms, "With these guys, Lyas creativity can really shine."
It is Armovits trust in the Elements team that sets it apart from its peers. "Its not like other bridal shops where you come in and they give you brochures. And then, you dont know those people. These are people I would highly recommend."
Walker adds, "When you come to us, we tell you that if this is the kind of look you want and this is your personality, these are the people who can really serve you best."
Each partner in Elements Eleven displays his or her work in Armovits studio to help give the bride-to-be confidence in making a final choice for that one grand milestone of a show in her life.
What if none of the elements in Elements Eleven are to the brides liking? Thats not a problem, according to Walker. "We leave it up to the bride-to-be, of course. Although, of course, we would strongly urge her to use the entire team because of the benefits shed have in doing so."
By establishing Elements Eleven, Armovit is able to provide the bride with the best options while lessening the chance of seeing her creations mismatched with the rest of the wedding essentials.
She believes that a brides beauty and radiance should reflect in all the essential things that comprise her wedding day from gown and makeup to the flowers and cuisine and wines served in the wedding festivities afterwards.
Elements Eleven is committed to make exactly that happen. It promises to create more than just perfect sync; it aims to make every wedding a unique, undiscordant and unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime experience.
