MANILA, Philippines - It’s official. To usher in the beginnings of the s/s 2015 season, The Pantone Color Institute has appointed 18-438 Marsala as the color of the year. Between the tones of a very warm wine and the hues of an undercooked sienna, the reddish-brown color heralds a return to the earth--for fashion, beauty and home décor. It’s vineyards in Napa Valley, the mood of ‘50s mod, a distillation of fashion-favorite oxblood.
