Mega goes viral with two new sites
MANILA, Philippines - The Mega publishing group has gone the viral route with the launch of not one, but two exciting websites, with a star-studded event at the newly opened Prive club.
Following the magazine transition to web trend, the group launched MegaStyle.ph, a fashion site that features fashion show reviews, trend reports and beauty news with their own twist to the personal style feature, focusing instead on their staff’s daily wardrobe and links to various blogs, which I found most interesting. Although behind-the-scene photos and footage of their shoots are abundant, street-style shots and party pics posted in real time are not so — or maybe not yet. But judging from the celebrities and fashion folk turnout that night, it won’t be long until they get into the groove. Young showbiz folk Nadine Samonte, Bianca Gonzalez, TV host Bianca Valerio and supermodel Marina Benipayo, among others, all graced the event in highly covetable pieces that are totally paparazzi-worthy.

Dubbed as “an extensive online portal on the who’s who in the showbiz scene,” it features the hottest showbiz news as it happens. From the trivial to the frivolous, it’s sure to satisfy every showbiz freak’s (closet included) fantasy. An added perk, Fun Page, is dedicated to online games that the users can dabble into while they surf.
