Chanel resort 2011: Corduroys on the beach?

MANILA, Philippines - In the spirit of being experimental, Karl Lagerfeld played with beach essentials and tweaked them to a place only high fashion could understand. While cords in the beach is still on the debate files, the flashy fishnet dresses will undeniably be the choice of women high and low. The shift dresses that scream more cuidad than playa seem like an odd choice. However, Karl has a way of changing our minds about unpredictable fashion choices and perhaps our premature judgment will prove wrong in time. Let’s hope so, because Chanel is my happy home.
