Designer Alexander Wang isn’t the only one with sweat on his mind. YStyle likes to get a little down and dirty, too — not that way, you heathens — in the gym. Thanks to Wang’s louche, sophisticated-sporty ensembles for his recently debuted spring 2009 collection, with mesh-covered cutouts patterned after beads of sweat embellishing sweaters, we got in touch with our physical side and took some playful ensembles to see how they would work out in the sweatiest of locations.

Bold hues like traffic-cone orange, aqua and hot pink make for dazzling combinations — in or outside the gym. The only thing necessary to complete the look? A bangin’ bod. Hang out at the gym often enough, and you’re halfway there.
