What’s HIS say on your savvy dress-up style?

Girls love to play dress up! It’s in their nature. For some reason, they just can’t get enough of clothes — from laid-back get-ups to glammed-up suits, gals just can’t say no to the latest fashion.

Some dress up for themselves, others get dolled up to impress (boys of course!). But do the young gents care about what the young ladies are wearing? We talked to a few good (and young) men and asked them what look they want to see on women: Sweet and classic? Sporty? Trendy?

The responses were rather mixed. One important reminder — no guy (no matter how cute) can tell you what you can and can’t wear. You are the ultimate authority on what is gorgeous and comfortable.

Andre Salangsang, 21: The sporty look’s definitely for me, because these girls don’t like to play games — it’s strictly sports.

Jakey Yulo, 21: I love the sweet look. I mean, who can beat the classic look of a girl, right?

Addi Guevarra, 22: I go for sweet and classic because this look never goes out of style. It’s very feminine.

Joleon Tañada, 19: Hmm, I would say classic! First and foremost, it never goes out of style. Anyone who dresses up girly or sweet will never ever run out of anything to wear and she’ll always look fabulous.

John Smith (a.k.a. Carlo), 20: I prefer sweet and classic or as I like to call it — clean- looking. I find a girl attractive when she wears little or no makeup. Why spoil the natural look with more makeup?

Carl Garcia, 21: I like trendy because I like girls who express themselves, who aren’t afraid to experiment and to stand out. It’s nice when girls have the courage and the confidence to try new stuff.

Juan Miguel Zubiri, 33: My choice is sweet and classic because it’s a versatile type of dressing. You can go from casual dates to semi-formal functions. It’s not too trendy so she will never be out of place.

I also like my girlfriend looking and being sweet all the time.

Marco Lobregat, 21: Trendy! I like girls who look like they have attitude!

Macky Coronel, 20: I like the sporty look ‘coz I like girls who play games...but on a more serious note, I like girls with a laid-back look.

Dominic Ochoa, early 20s: I go for girls who wear the classics because this style never gets old. The simpler, the better.

Joey Tanyag, 19: Sweet and classic, ‘coz on the right girl, she looks even more appealing and sexy.

Ron Reyes, 19: I like girls who wear trendy clothes — skin-tight shirts and navel-baring outfits. I find them hot and sexy!

Raffy Garcia, 19: I like the sporty look on girls because they look laid-back and relaxed. At the same time, it shows that they are secure with themselves because they don’t dress to impress.

Carlo Trillo, 20: I prefer girls looking sweet and classic, although it depends on the occasion. There are nights when you have to look all-glam. There are days when you need to go sporty like when you’re attending a sports event. Overall, sweet and classic works ‘coz it’s really a day-and-night outfit, you know, flexible!
