Gimmick Commandments

Thou shall not take drugs.

Thou Shall not puke. Curb your drink. Don’t let alcohol control you. Control your alcohol. It’s not fun to look like a vegetable, having everyone worry (or laugh) at your distressed state.

Thou shall not take advantage of anyone who’s drunk. It’s cheap.

Thou shall not get too rowdy. Keep your composure. It’s okay to loosen up. But getting too wild is such a big turn-off.

Thou shall consider your budget. When you’re having fun, you just keep ordering more and more. Next day, when you’re out of cash, you regret the whole night. So, tame down and don’t get carried away.

Thou shall keep emergency cash. Just in case you lose your car, your friends leave you, and all imaginable complications come your way, at least you have moolah.

Thou shall not pick fights. Gimmicks exist to have fun… to make love, not war.

Thou shall not sneak to go out. Sneaking out from your parents, girlfriend, boyfriend, or what have you is never a good idea. You may get away with it a couple of times, but one of these days you will get caught. So don’t.

Thou shall not leave you date for more than 30 minutes. He might have picked up a new chick. Or she might have flown off with a cool dude.

Thou shall know when to stop and go home.
