Harry Potter, at last! Based on J.K. Rowling’s incredibly popular book series, this fantasy is about the exploits of young Master Harry Potter. The adventure begins on his 11th birthday when he discovers that he is actually the son of two powerful wizards. He then escapes his unhappy orphan’s life under the clutches of his cruel aunt, uncle, and their equally despicable son. Harry sets off for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he learns of his unique magical powers. There he learns to fly, cast spells, perform other feats of sorcery, and discovers, most importantly, the real meaning of magic. A must-see for everyone who has followed the book or those who just want some magic the 21st_century "special effects" way!
GLITTER
(Buena Vista International)

Pop superstar Mariah Carey makes her feature film debut in this love story set against the backdrop of the New York club scene. Similar to Mariah’s life story, she plays Billie Franklin, a young singer who has gone though a turbulent childhood, and uses her singing voice as the only way to fame and success. She dates a DJ who helps her get into the music business, and from there, begins the exciting but precarious journey to superstardom.
SPY GAME
(Sky Films)
Opens November 28
Take a peek into the do-or-die world of espionage as Tom Bishop (Brad Pitt) gets caught in the act trying to help an imprisoned foreigner escape a Chinese prison. Bishop’s mentor and good friend Nathan Muir (Robert Redford) is held for questioning and goes on to unfold the story of his life with Bishop to the higher-ups. Definitely a riveting thriller as years of bad blood are washed away in a flood of memories of adventures shared by two men as Muir takes on the most dangerous and personal mission he’s ever had. Tense, intelligent, and absolutely gripping!
