As you walk towards Amoeba from the 1000++ carpark that Eastwood City Walk in Libis boasts of, it almost feels like you're in New York, circa 1950s, walking towards the theater on your way to watch a black and white movie. Either that or you're in Enchanted Kingdom at Santa Rosa, Laguna making your way towards the Rialto theater ride.
That's because Amoeba DOES look like an old theater. It's a high structure with an old-fashioned marquee lit by countless yellow light bulbs; there's a box office in one side, big, wide double doors, and several spaces on the wall allotted for movie posters.
