Don’t give up on love
Dear Nanay,
I just want to offer some additional advice for your letter sender Broken Heart.
You are not the first person to have a broken heart and I am 100-percent certain you will not be the last. I have had my heart broken, not only once or twice, but three times! And do you think it gets easier because you get used to it? No, never. It never gets easier. If anything, it gets harder and harder because just when you think everything is okay, you have to endure the same emotions all over again.
But you cannot give up on love. You have to keep hoping and having faith that you will find love — that you will find the right person. And believe me, you eventually will find the right person when the time comes. And when that day comes, you will be very thankful that you did not give up on yourself or love.

The price is right
Dear Nanay,
Thanks again, Nanay, for featuring a reply from your reader Pian with regard to my earlier discussed predicament. I assure you that giving her a discount was already in the agreement, even at the start of talks about the project. It was not only supposed to be a friendly discount, but, as Ilocanos call it, presyong kabsat (meaning presyong kapatid or friendly price).
