Dermalogica: It’s rich and it’s got the power

I have to admit I was intrigued by the packaging.

Inside the small aluminum tub are 45 silver-gray capsules shaped like fish. It even comes with a cute little pill case or travel container.

So I thought they were pills and — the pill popper that I am — I almost popped one in my mouth.

Well, thank God I read the literature that comes with it — they’re for external use only.

Dermalogica’s Multivitamin Power Concentrate (P2,950) is actually a skin treatment meant to be used once or twice daily before moisturizing.

First, cleanse face thoroughly with your favorite wash.

Take a capsule and snip off the "tail" and squeeze the cream out.

Gently massage cream over face, throat, and eye areas, avoiding eyelids.

There is more than enough cream to cover the entire face. The cream is slightly yellow and has a mild scent of dough, even though it contains no artificial fragrance or odor.
