First Lady Liza Marcos issues playful Father’s Day joke 'executive order'

MANILA, Philippines — First Lady Liza Marcos marked Father’s Day with a playful post addressed to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., jokingly issuing an "Official Presidential Father’s Day Executive Order" that directed him to rest, avoid stressful meetings and enjoy dessert.
In a Facebook post Sunday, June 21, Marcos greeted the President and thanked him for his "strength," "patience," "terrible jokes" and "big heart."
"Our children may call you pops, the nation may call you Mr. President, but I’m the lucky one who gets to call you mine," she wrote.
The post included a family photo and a mock executive order carrying the seal of the "Office of the Chief Dad in Charge," with three joke provisions: "Dad must rest today," "No Stressful Meetings" and "Desserts Mandatory."
"By virtue of our Executive Order, you are hereby directed to REST today!" the first lady wrote.
The post drew thousands of reactions and comments from social media users greeting the president on Father’s Day.
