Pop Mart opens Philippines' first Dimoo-themed pop-up store in Makati

MANILA, Philippines — Fans of designer toys and collectible art figures have a new destination to explore as Pop Mart opens the Philippines' first store dedicated to its popular character Dimoo.
The Dimoo World × Pixar Pop-up Store is set to welcome visitors from July 23 to September 23 at the ground floor of Glorietta, near the Ayala Avenue entrance.
The temporary store offers an immersive experience inspired by Dimoo, one of the store’s best-known original characters created by artist Ayan Deng. Visitors can browse a range of collectibles, themed displays, and interactive installations centered on the dreamlike character, whose oversized eyes, tiny cloud companion, and whimsical adventures have made him a favorite among collectors worldwide.
The pop-up also features the Dimoo × Pixar collection, which reimagines the character alongside iconic stories and characters from Pixar Animation Studios. Limited-edition merchandise and exclusive collectibles will be available throughout the two-month run.
The opening also marks the store’s first location in Glorietta ahead of the launch of its permanent store in the mall, scheduled to open in October.
To celebrate the launch, Pop Mart is holding a three-day event at the Palm Drive Activity Center from July 23 to 25, where visitors can participate in activities and interactive experiences inspired by the Dimoo universe.
The Glorietta opening is part of the store’s continued expansion in the Philippines. The collectible toy retailer has already established permanent stores in SM Megamall, SM Aura Premier and SM North EDSA, while also mounting pop-up stores in Cebu and Davao to reach collectors outside Metro Manila.
Founded in China, Pop Mart has gained an international following through its blind-box collectibles featuring original characters created by artists from around the world. Among its most recognizable intellectual properties are Labubu, Skullpanda, Molly, and Dimoo, each offering distinct artistic styles that have helped fuel the growing popularity of designer toys among collectors.
