Bea Valdes is Fit for an Angel

MANILA, Philippines - If you’re one of the millions of people who streamed the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last Dec. 2, you may have seen veteran angel Devon Windsor sashay down the runway wearing something a little familiar. International jewelry and bag designer/peg in life, Bea Valdes designed a hand-embroidered crystal neckpiece that featured in the London runway. YStyle checks in with the label for the 411.

“It’s a hero piece created by Bea that was commissioned by Swarovski,” says label brand manager Marga Valdes, “I believe Victoria’s Secret asked Swarovski if they could use it as part of their runway show in London.” The piece was an original, created to open Swarovki’s Beijing runway showcase and is currenty housed as part of the permanent exhibit in the Swarovski Museum in Austria.

America’s Next Top Model alum Allison Harvard collaborates with local retail giant Bench for a capsule collection called CAT X BENCH. The shirts feature Allison’s watercolor paintings on combed cotton tees.
