Nail color maintenance 101
September 13, 2013 | 12:00am
MANILA, Philippines - • Invest in a good topcoat like Seche Vite’s. It dries fast, provides a rock-hard coating and is anti-chip.
• Apply cuticle oil to avoid hangnails that can ruin the smoothness of polish when applied.
• Use a base coat with protein like Essie’s to create a smooth surface and at the same time provide nourishment to the nail.
• Make sure to change polish every two weeks maximum to let the nails breathe. Let nails rest for a few days before applying a new coat.
