MANILA, Philippines - Not since Jill Masterson was doused head to toe in gold paint in Goldfinger has the gilded hue experienced such a moment (outside of the gold leaf-covered homes of the nouveau riche). After Carine Roitfeld put together Ultimate Gold Collection for this year’s amFAR Fashion Show, everyone in the industry seems to have developed a Midas touch. Looking like a million bucks has never been more literal.
