Spring into summer

MANILA, Philippines - Keds introduces its spring/summer 2013 women’s collection which takes inspiration from Keds’ American roots to the culture vibrancy of globalization, and a spring fling in Miami Beach. The Global Beat collection is an off-take on the confluence of culture brought about globalization, which also influences fashion trends.  On the other hand, American Splendor is a revival — an ode to a classic, pioneering spirit of America; while the Ocean Drive collection is resplendent of the mid-century holidays with the glam set, reminiscent of a fun, bright, beach story. Keds also has a spring/summer collection for men, which is driven by classic American materials that are executed on simple upper patterns. Chambray, canvas, army twill and camouflage dominate the range. Prints are used as an accent, so that even fashion clueless guys can fearlessly rock the print-on-print trend.
