Designers up close, personal and on sale

MANILA, Philippines - Over the weekend, Ava, the online shopping site, launched its first on-ground event called “A Private Designer Sale” at the Rockwell Tent Extension at the Plaza Garden of Rockwell. Co-presented with Globe Platinum, BDO Elite, AMEX and Rockwell Land, the one-day, members-only shopping event offered discounts of up to 70 percent from some of the country’s best fashion designers such as Dennis Lustico, James Reyes, Ivar Aseron, Joey Samson, Tippi Ocampo, Amina Aranaz and Louis Claparols. Shoppers were given the opportunity to buy exquisite home accessories and jewelry from Cura V as well as one of a kind home décor and furniture from design gallery A11. In between scouring racks for the perfect ensemble or a new addition to their home, attendees also enjoyed hand-crafted beverages care of The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.

A Private Designer Sale was a veritable hub of design delights with members of the press, high society and the country’s fashionable set enjoying a whole day of being surrounded by beautiful things and having the exclusive opportunity of owning them first.
