Fashion's Holy Grail on auction
MANILA, Philippines - The Holy Grail of bags, an ostrich Birkin, is now within reach.
In the spirit of the season, Salcedo Auctions is ending the year with Under the Tree: The Holiday Sale tomorrow, Nov. 19, 2 p.m. at its Three Salcedo Place auction room, 121 Tordesillas Street, Salcedo Village, Makati City.
Preview over 100 lots of fine art, jewelry, timepieces, collectible accessories and furniture and décor on offer ongoing until today, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the auction house’s sale room. An online catalogue is available at www.salcedoauctions.com and printed catalogues may also be purchased.
Aside from a very rare Hermès ostrich leather Birkin bag in fuchsia, there’s a brand-new Goyard St. Louis tote in white and a Hermès black Kelly with goldtone hardware.
Other highlights include a Pierre Cardin manual wind watch, a Cartier watch in 18K yellow gold, an Omega Seamaster stainless silver automatic watch and a Waltham 17 jewels in 14K gold.
