Diesel's summer blockbuster

- Christine Braganza -

MANILA, Philippines - With temperatures rising, Diesel comes up with a new way to plunge into summer fashion. The brand known for its tough attitude and fashionable denim has come up with a new collection based on an imaginary movie. It follows a tale of supersonic spies who duel in jets and engage in underwater scuba battles. Naturally, when work’s all done, they lie down with cocktails in the Miami sun.

The clothing is inspired by such events for both men and women. Both collections feature inspirations from military detailing, nylon jackets and fluo-trimmed pieces, as well as underwater scenes, sun-faded textures and pastel colors, with a transformable cocktail dress inspired by the Miami sun thrown in.

For this collection, Diesel introduced variations of the 5Pockets denim for men and women. The men’s group includes the Dirty New Age, a line focused on Diesel’s expertise in the field of purposeful grubbiness. Think bleaching, chalk shades and paint stains. For the other group, Blue Evecons, their new experimental washes create works of art, alongside their new cut, the Narrot (narrow carrot).

The women’s 5Pockets categories on the other hand include Powder of Diesel and the newest line, women’s Blue Evecons. The Powder of Diesel exhibits summery and colorful denim, which comes in bleached denim or super stretch marbled jeans. New styles include Biszou, a super slim jegging and Asthair, a pair with a summery Thai fit and a low crotch.

This summer, come out and watch Diesel channel adventure and action in its forceful and balanced collection.
