Chanel is tickled pink

MANILA, Philippines - Barbie isn’t the only one with a hankering for pink.

For Chanel’s holiday collection, a sumptuous melange of pinks, fuschias and magentas, pink is the story that gets told time and again.

This time, against a foil of warm bronze and khaki browns, pink is centerfold. Rich, deep pink stains for the lips (ultra luminous lip shine comes in Pink Pulsion, a sophisticated fuschia, and Charming, a pale pink), bold blush (Tweed Fuschia sheer pink sprinkled with specks of gold) and vivid nail lacquer (LeVernis Pulsion, which mimics the fuschia tones of cheek and lip color) make the holidays one big pink party.
