Dressed to the nines

The ladies at Boracay Bound 9 were in the mood to party. Showing off their tanned legs, the girls wore short dresses for a carefree night of partying. Others opted for the usual denim shorts. Some, however, wanted a whimsical or gypsy-ish look with floor-length skirts and dresses. They also went for just a few accessories, for a more casual vibe. Only a small bag was utilized to carry their essentials. And of course, what’s a beach outfit without your trusty flip-flops?   

Living up to its reputation for fun and sexiness, Boracay Bound in its ninth year raised its bar to a new level with sleek surroundings and a summery-mood shindig on the roof deck of the Tides Hotel. Absolut and Chivas cocktails were on hand as we swayed to music spun by GP Reyes. Thanks to Stephen Ku and his team, Boracay Bound will always be a reason to make a trip to the island worth it.

Denisse Oca

Denisse wears items from random bazaars and stores in Bangkok. Her black jumpsuit is from a local designer in Bangkok in Siam Plaza. The accessories, including the belt, cuffs and flats, are from Platinum Store. Her style goes from girly to laidback boyish for a comfortable and carefree beach party.

Sanya Smith

Sanya wears a dress from Hotpink Lingerie and matches it with silver flip-flops from Ipanema. The polka dot print over her purple bra gives her look a fun and sexy summer vibe. Her bag and bangles are from Maldita.

Stephanie Henares

Stephanie wears a gray dress from The Gap. Her accessories are from Aldo and silver flip-flops are from Ipanema. The gray floral print for summer keeps her look sleek even at the beach.

Danielle Gonzalez

Danielle wears her own design label, Renegade Lovers (www.renega delovers.com). The blue and white printed dress is matched with flip-flops, vintage earrings and a ring. The leather patchwork bag is from Market! Market! She describes her style as “beach sexy with a hint of sarcasm.”
