Shimmer and luster are just some elements found in the most beautiful and luxurious things a girl can enjoy. So it only makes sense to “breathe” some life into your look with pearly tones. Done well, it’s a flattering look for any skin type and shade. A thing to remember: With a light hand you can dab some pearly color on yourself, but if you want a more dramatic look focus on one area. A stark white eye against a bright lip proves to be challenging but doable, while an overall angelic dusting of bronzy pink on the skin keeps it real and easy!

Tips on wearing shimmer:

1. Don’t go commando with shimmer. You need a good base for it to melt and stick to.

2. The more earthy the colors, the more versatile your look. Jewel tones can only be used when using neutrals on the other parts of your face.

3. Moisturize face well, then blot with powder so it doesn’t cake on the face.

4. Dab a nice gold eye shadow on the middle of the lip. This gives it a fuller and more dramatic look.

5.Only use shimmer cream on the face when the rest is matte. Trust me, you’ll look like a deep-fried diva in pictures.
